What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?

I decided to attend UMD because when I visited I fell in love with the campus and its proximity to D.C., as well as with the engineering program.

Best Experience with a Class or Project

My best experience with a project was ENES100. It was a great experience to become introduced to engineering principles and make some friends in the school along the way.

Favorite Class

CHBE301: Thermodynamics 1

Involvements/Extracurricular Activities

I am currently the President of AIChE, large events team leader for OXE (the Chemical Engineering Honor Society), and participate in ChemE Car as Battery Team Leader.

Favorite On-Campus Event

My favorite on-campus event is attending the home football games.

Cool Engineering Experience

My coolest engineering experience was designing and creating a battery with the ChemE Car team. I had the chance to build a battery from scratch relying on the research and experience of fellow undergraduates. Our team even got to compete at the national level in San Francisco last year and will be competing again this year in Minneapolis.
