I chose UMD because of its proximity to DC, great engineering program, and fantastic internship opportunities.

In my aerodynamics course, my class designed, built, and tested a shock tube!

My favorite on-campus event is Maryland Day!

Research/Study Abroad Experience 

I loved studying abroad at TUDelft in the Netherlands during my sophomore spring semester. I travelled everywhere, made a ton of international friends, and actually learned a lot about aerospace.

Cool Engineering Experience 

My coolest engineering experience was interning at Boeing in Washington and at NASA in Maryland.
