What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?

I decided to come to UMD for a number of reasons. My entire family basically came here, so I came a lot to visit my brother and sister, and I started to fall in love with it. The decision was really made when I came to a football game and a basketball game and saw the pride that Terps had for their school.

Best Experience with a Class or Project

I took a class called Reverse Engineering in the ACES Cybersecurity program, and it was an amazing experience. Every week we had a fun project that involved working with a group to solve a puzzle through code.

Favorite Class

In Major: CMSC216: Introduction to Computer Systems
Outside of Major: HACS208E: Seminars in Cybersecurity - Reverse Engineering

Involvements/Extracurricular Activities

Marching Band
Images Tour Guide
Honors Ambassador
Orientation Office Student Coordinator
Undergraduate Teaching Fellow for ENEE244

Favorite On-Campus Event

My favorite events are Art Attack and other events put on by SEE.

Cool Engineering Experience

I worked as the Orientation Advisor for the Engineering school for the last two summers, so I got to work with the Undergraduate Advising and Academic Support office to help advise incoming Freshman and Transfer students on building their schedules.
