What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?

Of all the schools I was accepted to, UMD had the most hands-on approach to engineering.  The General Education program was also exciting, as it gave me the opportunity to decide what out-of-major classes I wanted to use to enhance my education.

Best Experience with a Class or Project

So far, my experience in ENES 100 (Introduction to Engineering) has been my favorite class experience. It was interesting to see how each engineering discipline contributed to the final project, an autonomous Over Sand Vehicle.

Favorite Class

ENME272: Introduction to Computer Aided Design

Involvements/Extracurricular Activities

Outside of class, I love to get involved with outreach events, read and bake.

Favorite On-Campus Event

My favorite on campus events are the basketball games. They are really fun and are an avenue for me to show my school spirit.

Cool Engineering Experience

My coolest engineering experience came in ENES 102 during my Truss Design Project. I learned how to use various tools and was able to apply all I had learned during the semester. It was also intriguing to see the engineering design process at work.
